At approximately 8:30am today (6/5/08) the General Discussions forum had a major meltdown. There was a post with a quote that pulled in the wrong information and was basically reclicating the forum within itself. I appologize for the inconvenience. I tried to recover the posts and move them, but was unsuccessful. I have recreated the General Disussion forum and added the ability for registered users to post attachements. This was a feature that previously was not available, but several people had requested it in the past and with the crash it made it easy to add the function at this time. I have also added the 'Polling' feature which will allow users to create basic vote based polls.

Once again I'm sorry I couldn't save the posts, but I was afraid it would eventually start spilling over to other areas of the website.

I have a 96 dodge Ram. 5.9L automatic 2WD and I am in the processes of a build and need some advice on what type of rear end I should go with? so far I have lowered the truck 5' in the rear, 3' in the front, I have 305/50/20 tires on the back so about 32' tall. I have the Fastman throttle body, M-1 intake, Mopar Purple Cam, roller rockers, Mike Leach headers, exhaust, cold air intake, MSD ignition, shift kit installed during a transmission re-build. In the process of having the heads re-done to include porting and polishing. the rear end has the 9 1/4 with 3.55 gears from the factory, and am wondering what to go with? Most of my driving is to car shows and eventually the track? It is not a daily driver. not sure if it is limited slip or not? or if it is possible to go with a posi set up? Any help would be great.

thanks

The link below contains early evening photos of the cruise night at Coits Root Beer Stand held on last Saturday night (06/20/2009). COMA members made a strong presence at the cruise night. By 8:00 p.m. the place was rocking with Ronne Kaye cranking out the tunes and packed with local 'Mopars', rods and muscle cars.

The site calendar says that we had our monthly COMA meeting last Sunday (May 24th), but since that was on Memorial Weekend I'm not sure if that's true or not. Was the meeting held then, or was it decided at the last meeting (which I missed) that it be moved to the 30th?

Yes this is the MOPAR club, but you gotta love how a real car will take an ECO friendly and ECO sponsored car and try to turn the ugly piece of junk into something that at least gets a second glance when you pass it by. So for my own entertainment and hopefully yours I give you

THE MONSTER SMARTCAR.

I can be reasonably sure it gets worse gas mileage than my Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab. <img alt='' src='/Providers/HtmlEditorProviders/Fck/FCKeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/wink_smile.gif'
